Wakefield Documentary Film Series

Primary Facts

1. The Documentary Film series will present 6 to 8 documentaries in a series.
2. Iconoclast rule: Must be independently produced without the influence of commissioning editors.
3. Where ever possible films will be screened in both languages - English and French - although the primary language of the series will be English.
4. Each feature documentary will be augmented by one or more short films.
5. Local film makers will be favoured in the choice of film shorts.
6. Ticket sales will be split 50/50 between the feature documentary makers and the Series organizers.
7. A Wakefield Screening Committee made up of both professional film makers and community members will adjudicate the film entries and their decisions are final.

To Submit Your Film

1. Send a DVD screener to Rooney Productions at 95 Montée Drouin, Lac-des- Loups, Qc. J0X 3K0.
2. Include your completed entry form and film synopsis.
3. 300 dpi stills photos on CD and any relevant publicity materials including, your bio, reviews and articles and a trailer will be required upon acceptance.
4. If you wish to have us return your film please include a stamped, self-addressed envelope.
